RGB Theta

From TechSlop

This filter is another 2d/3d that I use with specific renders from a 3d application.

The basic idea is to define two vectors and take the angle, or theta, between them. The controls for Point One and Point Two define the first vector. The second vector is Point One and the colour value of the given pixel.

With a normal render, this one is excellant for faux lighting tricks. For faux lighting, it is usually much better than RGB Ellipsoid.

However, if I remember correctly, the algorithm isn't complete. I think I still have yet to fix the logic bomb that happens when theta equals zero. If get artifacts, the tiniest of tugs of one of the Point sliders should make them go away. Just a tick on one of the slider should jumble theta enough so unconfuse RGB Theta.
