From TechSlop

Welcome to my Adobe Photoshop (http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/main.html) Technical Slop (http://tech-slop.serveit.org) Wiki (http://www.wiki.org). Courtesy of a guy known only as JKM. My benefactor is a strange and mysterious dude. He's also really cool.

I don't know how you found this place, but you did. Chances are you are here for the major node known as Adobe Photoshop. That is where most of my junk branches from. It is the brain stem of this neural net.

Repeat: Adobe Photoshop.

But who knows? As time goes on, I might add other good stuff. Maybe some of the programming exploits I've been going through. Or maybe talk about artificial intelligence. Or maybe mathematical curiosities and bizarre ways of using them.

One place I plan on dumping some stuff is The Babble. That will act as my blog and observation deck. Some of it will be technical fiddlings, but some will be my thoughts and opinions.

I've been writing Photoshop stuff for five years or so. Sometimes big things that are full-blown tutorials. Sometimes little things that get lost in forum archives. In one form or another, I'm almost always writing something.

While I do have Technical Slop under my belt, I was getting tired of the organization method. Always straight forward and linear. Not that it's bad, but cross-referencing and re-arranging was wearing on my nerves. I wanted a new organization paradigm.

A wiki seems to fit the bill rather well. It's more neural-like or brain-like. Nodes that are easily created and connected, and even destroyed. A lot of the things that I explore are inter-connected.

While wiki is good, I'm having a hard time making the transition. I have no problem thinking this way, but doing this way will take some time and practice.
